The 1950s were a very formative and successful time for Eintracht Frankfurt, culminating in one of their greatest triumphs: the German championship in 1959.
This was the absolute highlight of the decade and the first (and so far only) German championship for Eintracht. On 28 June 1959, Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Kickers Offenbach 5-3 a.e.t. in the legendary final at Berlin's Olympic
Stadium. As reigning German champions, Eintracht Frankfurt took part in the European Cup in the 1959/60 season. They made it to the final, where they faced the legendary Real Madrid at Hampden Park in Glasgow. Although Eintracht lost 7-3, this final is often considered one of the best football matches of all time and has made Eintracht internationally famous.
This T-shirt is reminiscent of the "golden" Eintracht era with player names such as Alfred Pfaff, Sztani and Weilbächer.
Black T-shirt from the Eintracht Frankfurt retro collection. The focus is on the iconic 50s Eintracht eagle. On the upper left side of the chest, the white text "Fiftynine" can be seen. On the lower left hem of the shirt is a small, red and white Eintracht logo as a flag label. With this shirt you wear a piece of proud Eintracht history.
